The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance point created for intervention experiences a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, sassa status check SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
